We were running errands in SLC and saw good reviews online. It was a little hard to find at first (there are two restaurants in the same building, so look for Square Kitchen to find both), but there was plenty of parking. The building seems to be a converted fast food joint, but was clean, modern, and inviting inside. You order at the counter (separate for each restaurant) and they bring the food out to you. My wife loved the chicken salad sandwich (has grapes in it, which she likes). It was very fresh and she said she'd go again if we lived closer, which is a win -- she has high expectations for chicken salad and she wasn't disappointed. Nice place, friendly owners, highly recommended!
Finally found a decent salad place in Salt Lake. Similar to California Chicken Company in LA, however Rusty’s chicken is better in my opinion.
The girl at the register was super friendly her name was Deny (hope I’m spelling it right!). The food was delicious, and the portion size was pretty generous. I got the chicken club sandwich and really enjoyed it.
Rusty birds is the new chicken place in town and it’s fantastic! The chicken is roasted fresh everyday and they use spices such as lemongrass to create a fantastic flavor explosion in your mouth. I seriously don’t think I’ve had better roasted chicken. Their Caesar and chipotle wraps are yummy as well. Everything on the menu uses the fresh roasted chicken and you can taste the quality.
Rusty Birds Cafe is truly amazing. The food is incredibly delicious The Rusty Chicken is easily one of the best dishes they offer, full of flavor and perfectly cooked. The Caesar Wrap is also outstanding, super fresh and satisfying. Great service, cozy atmosphere, and food that never disappoints. Highly recommended!
Food was so fresh and yummy. Highly recommend the Chinese chicken salad. It was so huge we were able to share it. The staff was outstanding, they even came to our booth and checked on us. We will definitely be back. atmosphere was clean, but nothing special.
Wow!! Do you love moist roasted chicken? Then you'll absolutely love Rusty Birds Cafe. Their food is delicious 😋 😍 their salads are vibrant green and tasty. You won't go wrong here! Come down and see what you're missing!! We tried their Chicken Salad and Chicken Club sandwiches. Delicious 😋 😋. We also tried their Moose Track Mocha coffee ☕️ 😋 It was phenomenal 😋 👌 💝 The employees are very kind, the atmosphere is peaceful. I HIGHLY recommend this place. It's located between I 80 East and Comfort Inn, on State Street.
The food is fresh, healthy and tasty. The owners are great people, and the portion sizes are huge! Highly recommend.
Great dairy-free options such as the Chinese wrap and the all the chicken and potato plates are all dairy free too so this place is good for people with dairy allergy. Not to mention It was super good and tasted so fresh. Also it was super darling to see the owners kid playing quietly at one of the tables is just really sweet to see parents working and trying to make it in a world that gets harder to do so everyday.
First off, their chicken is amazing!! Really good taste and the portion sizes are perfect! If you are hungry and looking to lay it down this is the spot🫶🤙💪🦝 It was a little confusing finding this spot as its inside a food hall. Nevertheless I highly recommend it. Me and my partner loved the wraps we got.🤌
